Scott is a board advisor to several companies and a Founding Partner of SBC’s OnAfrica Syndicate. SBC’s AfriTech portfolio is nearing $1B USD in value, has outperformed most regular funds and now ranks in the top 5% of fund performance, globally. Scott is a FCA Approved Person and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.

Rory previously worked in the Growth team at world-leading investment firm KKR, deploying a $2.2B fund that invests $50-200M+ in high-growth tech companies, including Zwift. Prior to that he was at Spectrum Equity, a top-tier private equity firm that’s invested in the likes of AllTrails & Headspace Health.

James Collins is a distinguished specialist in human performance and nutrition. For the last 15 years he’s worked extensively with Arsenal FC, Chelsea FC, France Football (2018 World Cup winners), England football, UEFA and Team GB Olympic medalists, PGA Golf major winners, through to headline musicians, FTSE 100 companies and executives.

Joe Foster is the Founder of Reebok. Joe and his late brother Jeff were born into the J. W. Foster & Sons family business (Joe’s grandfather was the inventor of the Spiked Running Shoe and the Trainer). In 1958, Joe and Jeff left the business to set up a new venture - Mercury Sports Footwear. After 18 months they re-branded to Reebok. Joe took Reebok from start-up to a $4 billion business.

As Managing Director for Microsoft, Roberto built Microsoft for Startups from scratch across the Middle East & Africa. He’s raised $20m outside of Microsoft and launched the first Microsoft fund (focused on the Middle East & Africa region). He's now a Director at the Public Investment Fund (PIF), one of the world's largest sovereign wealth funds with estimated AUM of $620bn

Alistair needs little introduction. He is a two-time Olympic Triathlon Champion, philanthropist, founder, advisor and investor. Alistair sits on our advisory board and also plays a key role on our investor committee, helping us to identify and review promising opportunities in the endurance market and beyond.

Nathaniel is an investment banking veteran, endurance athlete, and long-time angel investor. He was an early supporter of Skin In The Game and continues to play an instrumental role in shaping the business. In his spare time he does vast amounts of running and barely ever gets to use his Arsenal season ticket.

As Managing Director for Deutsche Bank, Bill was Head of Sovereign, Supranational & Agency Originations. Since leaving Deutsche Bank, Bill has worked as a consultant for a range of clients including, inter alia, the International Monetary Fund, the UK’s FCDO and World Bank Treasury. Bill sits on our advisory board, providing valuable counsel and ideas.

Rhys is a sports media & technology leader. In his current role, Rhys is responsible for platform development and global content at OneFootball. Rhys previously held leadership positions in the sports industry at Meta, NBCUniversal, DAZN, the English Football Association and Setanta Sports. In 2019, he was recognized as one of the world’s top sports leaders aged under 40 in the prestigious Leaders Sports Awards.

Preston is Managing Director at leAD, the investment ecosystem inspired by Adi Dassler – the founder of Adidas. leAD sources, funds & drives growth of early-stage sports & health startups globally. Preston is also a Partner at WhiteRock investment bank, Venture Partner at Cerro Capital, & Advisory Board Member at Dallas Influencers in Sports and Entertainment (DISE).

Ben is a former professional athlete and author of Fringes: Life on the Edge of Professional Rugby. He now advises entrepreneurs and sports companies on growing powerful brands through content and storytelling. Ben has worked on projects at the highest levels of professional sport with athletes, clubs, rights holders, and investors.

Laurie is a professional golfer who cemented his position in the World Top 100 following a run of successful performances during the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Laurie has joined Skin In The Game’s advisory board & investment syndicate, bringing to our community his unique perspective on elite athletic performance and the business of sports.

Jeff Lewis is Director of Capital Formation at Pantera Capital & CEO of American Flag Football League (AFFL), the preeminent professional flag football league in the USA. Jeff has a background as an entrepreneur, investor & trader for world-class hedge funds. He was a Senior MD at Guggenheim Partners & held senior roles at York Capital Management & DLJ.

Sharon is a consumer driven strategist and visionary who has spent the last 3 years consulting and advising sports & health tech startups in Go-to-Market strategy. She spent 17 years with Nike and Adidas and brings multi-disciplined commercial experience, most latterly as Global Go-to Market Director.

In 2005, Jason co-founded and bootstrapped the now globally renowned brand, PhD Nutrition. As CEO, Jason grew and guided PhD through two major acquisitions before exiting the business in 2019. PhD was acquired by the Science in Sport (SiS) group for £32 million. In 2021, Jason co-founded HMN24® – a brand built on a lifelong passion for holistic human performance.

Joe Welstead is a former pro-swimmer turned serial entrepreneur. Joe co-founded Motion Nutrition in 2016, leading the way in organic supplementation for sleep and mental performance. Motion Nutrition was acquired in 2022. Joe co-founded Knowjack Media in 2021, a media production company specialised in storytelling in the outdoors, counting The North Face and National Geographic as part of its client roster. Joe is also an advisor to tech and wellness startups.

Daniel is data-driven brand builder and expert in DTC and performance marketing. Co-Founder of Ruroc helmets, one of the fastest growing brands in the UK. As CEO, Daniel scaled Ruroc Group from $0 - $50M ARR. Since leaving Ruroc, he has joined WAU e-bikes as CEO. Daniel is into football and passionate about fitness and HealthTech.

Emily is a clinical operations expert, biomedical engineer, angel investor and world-record powerlifter. She has developed and conducted clinical studies at companies ranging from startups to large corporates, such as Roche and Verily (formerly Google Life Sciences) and has conducted human subject research in the health, fitness, wearable, and nutraceutical space. Emily is obsessed with optimal performance and has three all-time powerlifting world records.
